Lilies of the Valley / Tribute to a Tired Girl

The traditional screen-printing technique employed in this series of works marks a deliberate stage of digital detox in the artist’s work, which is usually associated with the use of digital Technologies. The technical process of creating the works in this series is borrowed from ikebana — the Japanese art of flower arrangement, which involves strict discipline and principles based on spiritual practices. In the ikebana tradition, arranging flowers is a moment of intimacy that helps relax the mind, body, and soul, while looking at a flower, admiring its shape and color, restores our sense of inner harmony. The purpose of the series is to serve as an encouragement to everyone who feels tired.
