Showroom: Spring Break

8 – 16 March, we will present the Spring Break showroom featuring selected artworks for sale from artists Lisette Lepik, Anna Mari Liivrand, Laura Põld, Kadri Liis Rääk and Sabīne Vernere.

The works chosen for 2024’s first showroom, Spring Break, evoke the soft yet intense feelings that all living entities experience in the early spring. The temperature is still relatively low, the ground is muddy and trees are still swinging their naked branches in the wind. Yet the world starts to blush from inner longings, leaking pastel-toned light all over while the sun warmly paws the surface of its skin. The imaginative garden inside every one of us is beginning to break through, demanding the right to blossom. This refreshing yet frustrating state of being will be expressed in the showroom by a strong group of Baltic woman artists – Kogo Gallery-represented artists Anna Mari Liivrand with framed drawings and Laura Põld with textile and ceramic works, Latvian artist Sabīne Vernere with an ink painting encased in marble, and young up-and-coming artists Lisette Lepik with paintings and Kadri Liis Rääk with ceramic masks.
