Birgit Kaleva

Birgit Kaleva alias motoerotica (1996) is a freelance artist living in her hometown Kanepi. She graduated from Tartu Art School with a degree in Stylistics (2019) and Pallas Art School with a BA in Photography (2024). In her work, she deals with everything personal and surrounding that life has thrown at her – how growing up in a small town has affected her self-image, what life is like working in a family business, and if there is even a place for someone like her. All bright and painful subjects are accompanied by self-irony.
